Annual Report 2021–2022
This fall, Rodeph Sholom School is happily making its way toward a new normal. We are gathering for curriculum nights, cocktail parties, Shabbat, and holiday celebrations. It has been wonderful to see many of you at in-person events, at Rodeph Sholom School, and in people’s homes. Our always vibrant community is truly something to behold when we come together.
In 2021-2022, your generous gifts to the Annual Fund kept our community safe, while also enabling us to continuously improve our programming. The Annual Fund helped provide our students with access to up-to-date technology, like new laptops and smart boards; it supported our faculty with salary increases to account for inflation; and it supported our families by expanding tuition assistance. Your donations to the Annual Fund gave our children the incredible gift of days filled with learning, friends, and fun.
The Annual Fund team always says that every gift makes a difference. To that end, I am pleased to share that among our current parents, three grades reached 100% participation in the 2021-2022 Annual Fund: Mazal tov to our current 3s, Pre-K, and 5th grades! I believe our community can do even better, and I look forward to seeing participation levels increase even further among all of our constituencies.

Since its inception over 53 years ago, Rodeph Sholom School has been proud to have a strong culture of philanthropy. Our teachers and staff are invaluable in guiding our students through their early lives and adolescence, and our families and friends offer tremendous support, year after year, to make that work possible and to help our programs thrive.
Rodeph Sholom School’s operating budget relies on contributions to the Annual Fund. Your gift has a direct impact on all aspects of school life, including teacher salaries, library books, science equipment, and keeping our buildings and students safe. Your commitment to the Annual Fund allows our school to raise and educate strong, confident, Jewish leaders ready to face a complex world.
