Jackie’s Corner

Jackie’s Corner is being created to celebrate the life and spirit of longtime Rodeph Sholom School Early Childhood teacher, Jackie Greenstein. Jackie described the students she taught here as her legacy and truly felt that Rodeph Sholom School was her other home. We honor Jackie by dedicating this corner in the Early Childhood library to her, where generations of students will continue to learn and grow.

“I can still hear the echoes of “Hi, Jackie!” in the hallways of RSS. The children absolutely delighted in seeing Jackie, even in passing. Jackie’s students knew her as someone who made them feel safe, heard, and seen. Jackie’s colleagues knew her as someone who knew just the right story, project, or activity for a unit, someone who would arrive early and leave late so that she could finish one more bulletin board, and someone who gave her all to what she loved most—being a teacher.”
